Mr. Gerstein earned his B.A. degree with High Distinction from the University of Michigan in 1991 and his J.D., cum laude, from the Seton Hall University School of Law in 1994.

Brian Gerstein’s commitment to excellence and legal expertise is evident from his diverse background. He gained valuable experience as a law clerk for the Honorable Edward R. Schwartz, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division. Mr. Gerstein was admitted to practice law in New Jersey in 1994 and in New York in 1996, solidifying his presence in the legal landscape.

Mr. Gerstein has been a proud member of the Essex County, New Jersey State, and American Bar Associations. From 2008 to 2015, he served on the District VB Ethics Committee, holding positions of Chair and Vice-Chair. His contributions to legal ethics earned commendation from the New Jersey Supreme Court and the Office of Attorney Ethics, further affirming his dedication to upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
